B.L.I.S.S. Photography is owned and operated by Bear Yovino of Whitehall, Michigan. Bear was born in Danbury, Connecticut, and spent the first 18 years of his life traveling back and forth between his Mother in the Midwest and his Father on the East Coast. After graduating from Reeths Puffer with honors in 1996, he embarked on a truly nomadic existence; first as an adventurous traveler, and then as a hand-made jewelry vendor at various national music festivals. In 2004 he began working for the band Grasshoppah, through which he made many connections in the local music scene, greatly assisting in the growth of his company, Brother Bear Productions. During this time Bear attended Muskegon Community College to study Business Management. When Grasshoppah moved to Oregon, Brother Bear Productions seized the opportunity to expand, by including photography and by reaching out to other locally grown artists. His talents have been sought by artists such as Greensky Bluegrass, Daisy May and Seth Bernard, Earthwork Music as well as festivals like Hoxeyville Music Festival, FarmFest, HarvestFest, Amberfest, and many other Michigan talents. Bear's natural drive and passion has led him to pursue photography in it's many forms; from portraits to nature, event photography to more personal weddings to senior pictures as well as nudes and other creative projects. Bear projects his unique vision of the world through the camera lens. In the coming months this site will be filled with photos, pricing and information.
